It began with a secondhand Nikon F camera bought from a friend in 1975. Ten years later after attending countless seminars and college photography courses, combined with reading a myriad of books – and experience gained from shooting miles of film – he began as a full-time, professional photographer. Since then he has photographed in factories and boardrooms, retail settings and outdoor locations and from high cherry pickers to deep underground. He is quite mobile and has worked with businesses across the country, focusing in Illinois, DuPage County and locally in West Chicago. He has access to studio spaces of various sizes for assignments in which every detail needs to be carefully controlled.
